Helpful Hints
- Provide all graphics, logos, photos and fonts placed in a document on a disk when using
PageMaker or Quark. Only graphics, logos and photos need to be included when using InDesign
as long at the text has been converted to outlines.
- Provide a hardcopy to allow the graphic designer to cross check graphics and text in the
file.
- Graphics should be scanned at 300 dpi resolution and saved in CMYK or Grayscale TIFF
format without embedded profiles. Graphics in EPS format are also acceptable.
- Digital camera photos should be taken at the highest resolution possible.
- Graphics taken from an internet web page are discouraged due to their low quality
resolution and copyright issues.
